Hi, I'm Jaya! I am a freshman at Lake Highland Preparatory School, Class of 2028, actively engaged in academics and leadership as a member of the National Junior Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta.

Passionate about entrepreneurship and empowerment, I am dedicated to supporting disadvantaged East Asian women by teaching business skills and fostering financial independence.

As the owner and founder of Jaya’s Jems, I design and create handmade jewelry, charms, and keychains, selling them locally and through wholesale partnerships. By collaborating with Orlando-based small businesses, I help them expand their offerings while sharing my work with a wider audience.

In addition to running my business, I serve as the Assistant Pastry Chef at Kadence, a Michelin-starred Omakase restaurant. My role includes crafting recipes, plating dishes—from sushi to desserts—and preparing the restaurant for service, ensuring an exceptional dining experience.
